BITCHËN BLŌK
get wood.
Bitchën Blōk is a thick slab of locally-sourced, wind-dried deadwood, for chopping or serving food and stuff.
Human hand-crafted by consenting adults. Sustainably harvested from standing dead timber.
Beautiful, durable, and biodegradable, these pricey pieces of polished wood are guaranteed to satisfy your most rigorous kitchen needs.
Solid, one-piece design. It’s big, it’s heavy, it’s wood. Brought to you by trees, planet Earth, and the Big Bang.

More stuff you need to know…
Like that each Bitchën Blōk is hand-crafted in limited batches, made to order, and that that takes time. How much time I don’t know, sometimes a long time. Not forever though. I don’t have a million of them sitting around in the barn though, in case you were wondering.
Every one is different, obvi. Each has it’s own unique perfections. If you don’t like the one you get, you can swap it for another, anytime. It’s kind of like the lottery that way, except you win every time.
There aren’t enough for everyone. Sorry, that’s just the way it is. Limit one per customer for now. If you’re a fancy restaurant that want’s a bunch, use the telegraph@bitchenblok.com for a custom quote.
Shipping & delivery
Upon placing your order, you’ll be contacted via email to arrange a time for delivery, which usually consists of someone dropping it off at your doorstep, or you picking it up someplace convenient for you.
Why aren’t they available outside Ontario? Because shop locally, that’s why.
Delivery is available for free during the holidays between Toronto, Ottawa and Kingston.
Dimensions
Each Blōk is a little different, but they’re roughly 2.5″ thick, and 15″x10″ on the top side (for serving). The underside, for chopping, is a little smaller.
